As a Junior Content Specialist, you’ll be researching relevant topics and creating bespoke content, looking for the best ways to promote our clients and increase organic traffic and revenue. You will be working with multiple brands alongside the content and strategy SEO teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating clear, high-quality content promoting clients' products and services.
  • Contributing to the creative and idea-generation processes
  • Researching industry and client-relevant topics, information sources and new trends.
  • Conduct keyword research to maximise the organic reach of your content.
  • Work alongside senior content staff to proof and provide input on your content.
  • Use Content Management Systems (CMS) to prepare and publish your content.
  • Identify opportunities for clients regarding new topics, existing content gaps, and up-and-coming industry trends.
  • Ensuring all copy, tone of voice and imagery are in keeping with client brand guidelines.
  • Communicating with clients and internal teams

The right candidate should have a natural flair for writing, excellent grammatical skills and an eye for detail. You’ll be responsible for your deadlines and workloads, so good time management and organisational skills are a plus. 

Some knowledge of SEO is beneficial but not essential to the role. You’ll learn as you go as a Junior Content Specialist, picking up the necessary expertise and best practices of SEO to add to your content-creating skills. 

Necessary skills and experience include:

  • Experience and ability as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role.
  • Excellent skills in writing and editing using the English language.
  • Experience creating copy for various sectors.
  • Familiarity with creating web-based content, e.g. blog posts, website content and category page descriptions.
  • The ability to meet deadlines and manage your workload independently. 
  • A BA degree is advantageous but not required.
